JPEG does not support transparency. Transparent areas are filled with white automatically. To preserve transparency, use PNG or WebP output.

Chrome 85+, Firefox 93+, and Safari 16.4+ support AVIF. Older browsers will fail to encode AVIF — the Compare All view will show "Not supported" for that format.
